There are a few things to look for when purchasing Bobcat idlers, sprockets, and bottom rollers.  The three most important are as follows:

  1. Hardened Steel

  2. Sealed bearings

  3. Exact OEM measurements

It is important to get hardened steel so your new parts don't wear out fast.  Many aftermarket companies use a cheaper non-hardened product that may be less expensive initially but you will have to spend more in the long run having to replace them sooner.

Sealed bearings are also a must as it will inhibit dirt and grime from penetrating into the internal parts if they are a multiple-part roller or idler.  Sealed bearings are maintenance-free and provide a long-lasting solution to your Bobcat undercarriage part needs.

The four main parts for a Bobcat tracked skidsteer undercarriage is the idlers, sprockets, bottom rollers and the rubber tracks.

The Bobcat tracked skidsteers use both front idlers and rear idlers.  The rear idlers go underneath the sprocket where the front idler is the wheel that attaches to the adjustment cylinder and keeps tension on the rubber track.

There are between six and ten bottom rollers on the Bobcat tracked skidsteers.  The Bobcat T190 takes six bottom rollers and the Bobcat T300 takes ten.

There are also different sprocket options for the Bobcat skidsteers.  Before you order sprockets, you will need the casting number off the face of the sprocket and also the thickness of the back plate where the bolts go through.

The rubber tracks for the Bobcat tracked skidsteers can be anywhere from 7" up to 18".  The Bobcat MT52 takes a 7" track whereas the Bobcat T300 and Bobcat T320 take a 18" rubber track.  Rubber tracks need to have a continuous-steel cord to prevent stretching and be made with the OEM pitch measurements to prevent excessive wear on your undercarriage parts.
